The 11th Spring Film Festival: A Bang for the Filipino-Chinese Community

The 11th installment of the Cultural Showcase of the Filipi
no-Chinese Community name the Spring Film Festival was launched last January 25, 2017.

This event, on15941372_710689049081399_4877700379186218671_n its 11th year has continuously vowed to promote the rich Chinese practice in nuance to the Filipino tradition. The event lasted  until January 29, 2017 and in stored four major events for all the spectators. The aforementioned occasion has four major highlights and these are ; The Chinese Painting Exhibit, The Chinese Music Concert, Chinese Pastel Painting Workshop and the Showcase of selected Chinese movies.

On the launching which was attended by personalities from the Chinese community and the local government the officials started with a highly traditional Chinese gongs and Lion dancers. Someof the notable guests are Fr. Jett Villarin SJ, president of the Ateneo de Manila University, Dr. Rosita Leong and Fr. Ben Nebres and Dr. Jane Yugioksing. The night was filled with activities such as the start of the  film showing, handing out of freebies, performances from some ADMU mg_5091-mark-chua-e1486134059256students and many more.
